After our breakfast we drive three and a half hours to Andasibe, the premier national park of Madagascar. Andasibe is full of wildlife, rosewood trees, orchids and the Indri, largest of the lemurs.

Your morning is free to relax. After lunch we head back to Antananarivo for a city tour.

After an early morning flight to the Island of Maroantsetra,
you’ll take a smooth boat transfer to the Masoala Forest Lodge. Your afternoon may be spent swimming, beach exploring, or taking a guided walk in the costal forest. Later, greet the sunset with sundowners around a fire on the beach.

Enjoy early morning coffee and breakfast on the sea deck before setting off on the day’s adventure. This primary rainforest is home to the striking red-ruffed lemurs.

Savor your relaxed start to the day before a guided walk
through the forest to enjoy the crystal waters of the Tampolo River. Swim at leisure or relax on a dugout canoe ride. This evening join in a guided walk to look for the camouflaged leaf tail gecko, the mouse and dwarf lemurs, and the aye-aye.

You can choose a boat or kayak to explore the rock formations of Tampolo and the pristine mangroves that are home to the blue spotted stingrays and lesser bamboo lemurs. This evening you’ll be entertained with traditional Malagasy music.

Before our afternoon flight back to Antananarivo we will
explore Nosy at Mangabe, a densely forested island with a
network of walking trails. This island is home to the cave
tombs of the Malagasy.
