Grand Rwanda: Gorilla Trekking

Grand Rwanda: Gorilla Trekking

The verdant mountains and forests of Rwanda and Uganda provide sanctuary to the last two groups of critically endangered mountain gorillas. Extensive conservation efforts have helped restore the populations and there are select, habituated groups that can be viewed by permit. Mesmerizing natural beauty surrounds you everywhere in Rwanda. You can hike through an ocean of terraced slopes and forested hills or enjoy endless birding and big game watching in the woodlands and lakes of Akagera National Park.
